A trip to Nizhny Novgorod

On 13 and 14 of October our students visited old Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod with their teachers.
In Nizhny Novgorod they met with students from the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University. The NNSTU is one of the oldest and biggest universities of the Russian Federation. The IRLC and the NNSTU have recently begun cooperation and this was the first trip organized in the framework of this cooperation.
Our students and their new friends had a walk in the Kremlin of Nizhny Novgorod, took photos on a riverbank covered with autumn leaves, and spent a night at Bolshaya Pokrovskaya street, central street with lots of shops and restaurants. On the second day of the trip the students visited the Christmas-tree decorations factory "Ariel" and made their own decoration.
Students enjoyed the trip very much and it was very difficult to say goodbye to their new friends and heartwarming Nizhny Novgorod.
The Institute of Russian Language and Culture thanks the principal of NNSTU, S. Dmitriev, vice-principal V. Mogutnov, the head of the international relations department O.Zorina and all the students of the university for a nice and warm welcome.
