Enlarging cooperation with South Korea

On the second week of February the delegation from the IRLC (V.Kim, I.Maloglazova and V.Chastnykh) went to South Korea to recruit students for the Summer School.
The program was very intensive. On February 10-11 IRLC representatives participated in a big International Educational Fare "Study abroad" that takes place every year in Seoul. A lot of universities from all over the world participate in this fare. During the two days over 40 potential students visited the stand of the MSU. Thanks to cooperation with Korean partner "Gadja Rosia" our stand was well-equipped with all materials in Russian and in Korean.
Apart from participating in this fare the representatives of IRLC visited several universities and institutes, namely: Kyungpook (Daegu), Kyunghee (Suwon), Inchon and Russian cultural center "Pushkin House" in Seoul. At the meeting with representatives of Seo Kyeong University in Seoul IRLC delegation discussed the possibility to sign a conctract between the universities so that students could come to Moscow to study Russian. The meeting with professor of Chungang University, a member of Russian Writers Association, Larisa Pisareva, was very interesting. With the professor IRLC representatives discussed the participation of Korean students in Sakhalin projects of MSU.
