IRLC meets the delegation from Shandong province, China

On the 20th of September 2018 the delegation from Jining city of Shandong province visited IRLC. The delegation included representatives from Municipal education committee, International department of municipal authorities, heads of the leading Chinese schools and representatives of the International education and technology company CRE, a long-term partner of our Institute.
During the meeting director of the Institute, E.Kovtun presented different programs that the IRLC may offer to the students. The members of the Chinese delegation pointed out that they observe growing interest towards learning Russian language among students in their country. Many of these students want to study at the MSU, one of the most well-known universities of Russia. Director of one of the schools of Jining said that there were 700 students who choose to study Russian among 2000 students studying at this school altogether. “We hope that one day they will choose to pursue their studies, here at the MSU”, - said E.Kovtun.
During the meeting the participants also discussed short-term language programs opportunities for those students who have just started learning the language. During these programs the students can learn more about Moscow State University, Russia and Russian culture. We hope that our relationship will strengthen at all levels.
