Spring placements are open at the IRLC!

Traditionally for the IRLC spring is the season of short-term placements for the students from South Korea and Japan. In February and March students go on holidays in these countries and come to Russia for 3-4 weeks to learn more about the country of the language that they study at their universities. For us this is a good opportunity to show how beautiful Russia and Moscow are, how interesting Russian language and culture might be and to demonstrate the opportunities that the MSU provides for them if they want to pursue their education in Russia either studying Russian language for a longer period or entering the MSU to get the Master's degree.
The first group to visit Moscow this year was the group of students from Kyungpook University (Deagu). 12 students with their professor arrived in Moscow on 16 January. They will have 4 weeks of intensive Russian language studies, they will learn about Russian history and culture, they will have excursions to various interesting places in Moscow, in Tver and in Sergiev Posad. They will also meet Russian students and make new friends.
We are very happy that our cooperation with Kyungpook University is becoming closer. The contract was signed not so long ago but the students are already arriving to participate in different programmes.
