The Institute of Russian Language and Culture Lomonosov Moscow State University is in preparation for the new academic year

Our new students have already arrived in Moscow. On August 28, the teacher staff meeting took place. There the Acting Director of the Institute Daria Aleksandrovna Pichugina congratulated everyone on the beginning of the new academic year and wished inspiration and motivated students. She showed photos of the future IRLC students who were tested. They will be divided into groups based on the results of the test. The Academic Coordinator Maria Viktorovna Folina told about the intake of students this academic year and their first classes. The Head of the Russian Department Nadezhda Nikolaevna Puryaeva reminded about the 70-th anniversary of IRLC that will be this autumn and about events that are scheduled as a part of this holiday. The Deputy Director for Scientific Work Andrei Petrovich Zabrovskii told about the Open Lecture Project “Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” and the Deputy Director for Development Valerii Vladimirovich Chastnykh shared the results of the Russian Language Summer School and expressed hope for continuation of this programme.
