The Thirteenth Online Friendship Festival “Dear friends, our union is wonderful!”

The final of the Thirteenth Online Friendship Festival “Dear friends, our union is wonderful” was held at the Institute of Russian Language and Culture Lomonosov Moscow State University in a blended format. The festival was dedicated to the 225-th anniversary of the birth of the greatest Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
The vice-rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, academician of the Russian Academy of Education Tatyana V. Kortava welcomed the participants of the festival and gave a memorable gift to Liu Juan, the professor of Beijing Normal University.
Interest in the festival is constantly growing. International students who study Russian sent 841 applications from 70 universities of 63 countries.
Students recited prose and poetry of the great writer, sang romances, showed fragments of plays and even brought into life the picture by Ilya Repin “Pushkin at an examination in the Lyceum of Tsarskoye Selo on January 8, 1815”.
It was especially nice to see students and teachers of The Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University among our guests. They vividly presented their university and recited the poem “Winter Morning” by Alexander Pushkin.
